After watching TV Series for so long you kinda learn how to have a bit of patience with the story line specially on the first episode, some series take the first episode to present most of the main characters by telling part of their story and purpose without much going on other than then talking without much action or drama. Parish seem to be that kind of series, there was not a lot of action, you do get a few car chase scenes after all its a series about a retired wheel man but it was mostly talking than anything else, I hope I don’t have to drop it from my posts because to be honest trying to understand what to post about I have come to learn that there are some times I need to drop series and stop because they are not that interesting or there are better and new things to talk about.

Episode one present most of the main characters like Gracian Parish who they call Gray, his wife Ros and daughter Makayla who have mix feelings on how to feel about Parish son death, then on the bad guys side there is The Horse the gangster Parish ends up driving for and his brother Zenzo Tongai who is not as patience and Colin who to be honest I’m not sure for how long he is going to last, he is the one in trouble and suck back Parish into his old life besides Parish is drowning in debt.

The episode opens up with a scene from the future, even though Parish did get to drive a red Porsche Macan he is never stop by the police, this is a cool car chase that he ends up leaving the police behind, Macan GTS is very fast car that would leave behind that Crown Vic in a blink of an eye although it doesn’t show what variant Parish is driving, the character of an old retired wheel man does suit Gian Carlo Esposito with his grey hair and shades.

Parish runs a luxury taxi service type, I like how his character falls into all the details of a dedicated man to his ride, this reminds me of Jason Statham back in the day when he use to play the Transporter, another dedicated driver who look after his car more than anything else. Parish is also drowning into debt between tuition, mortgage and his taxi business probably not doing so well to stay up float so he is looking for help, legally; trying to get a loan from the bank but they already know how bad his debt problems are and he might not have a long enough record of keeping this business up float, all we see at his shop might be money he made from his old days as a wheel man driving for shady people.

There is Sister Anne, she works at Saint Claude Church, she seem to run either an orphanage or day care not sure, Parish goes there to talk to her, trying to take a breath from everything going on, looking for some peace and advice that holds him up from going back to his old ways. I like Gian Carlo southern street accent, its not so common to watch series develop in the south so this brings a different surrounding to a gangster type content, not New York or Los Angeles which are the most classic ones. Sister Anne use to work with him for sure, she is fully retired too and feels lucky to be alive but different than Parish she is afraid of having to go back to that life although Parish is not, this is probably understandable because he kinda make it out, build up a business out of it, not so profitable but he was able to keep his regular life while she dedicates now to the church, I don’t think there is nothing wrong with it but Parish current life conditions in his mind he might feel as a winner, like he fool his old life so going back is not so hard, he wont think about it too much WHEN the opportunity presents.

Colin and old friend from his old life present this opportunity to Parish, he is with business with The Horse, a gangster from Zimbabwe who needs a driver, at first Parish obviously said no, no matter how Collin ask for this only favor but it was actually very easy to convince Parish to be honest, next day he was at Colin’s place asking for the details of the job, they could have look for another way for this to happen and don’t look this predictable, probably put Parish on a tight situation rather than just the lack of cash.

There are a good amount of nice cars showing up during the episode, Porsche Macan, Cadillac CT5-V, Audi R8, Mercedes G Wagon, even if this are base models still cool cars for the naked eye, but its more impressive when the wheel man do all kind of tricks with crappy cars and still gets away.

The moment comes and Parish meets The Horse who is a very cool men, its his brother Zenzo who is ruthless and probably after his brother power, its here when Esposito does his best work at been respectful but also from the streets, showing this is not his first rodeo and he is too old to be intimidated or treat like a kid by anyone including The Horse.

I think car guys would enjoy this series the most, it is a series that has started a bit slow and for now what I get is that the main focus will be Parish struggles and conflicts with his old life and how much trouble will Collin get him in, even makes he think that at some point Colin will betray him because to be hones the hole wheel man and car chasing wont build up this series, keep bringing the cool cars, give more details on them and going full throttle when the times come and this might turn into a good series to watch because the first episode did felt a little vague, like there was missing something. There is also a lot to be develop, looks like The Horse life is not as simple as it seems, he has his own problems with his family, he probably inherit the business from his father who is asking him for cash every month.

It is the first episode that you can point out as a “slow” episode but what is slow for this mini series? I don’t think it was compared to how other series slow down to then ramp up to full rush of dopamine, how long will it be until we have this great battle so it is understandable that on episode 7 things pause for a bit.

Toronaga and what is left of his army go to his younger brother Saeki for help, usually this kind of reunion after so long time no seen don’t go to well for the one asking for help, at first everything look smooth but it was very predictable, I think this also depends on how much time you spend watching TV Series, for me well you can tell this is something I do on a daily bases so thinking about the possible outcomes before they happen is a common almost automatic thing while watching the series and it was not boring because of how much interesting is the entire Samurai theme for me but I guess if this series was about something else this could have turn into a boring episode.

Take this scene for example, Toronaga just won his first battle at the age of twelve years old, 46 years ago; meaning his age at the time of the series is about 58 years. He has won his first battle and was about to behead his contrary, they didn’t show this scene when he cuts his head off but I truly doubt this was a single clean cut because of how difficult it must be, the talent and the strength need is impressive and a kid of 12 most likely wont have those two, I also assume this story would be brought to light by his brother, not directly him but when I saw it I was like…hhmmm this will be mention latter on.

Saeki look very happy to have his brother asking for his help, like if he finally felt he was useful to his brother, the reason I though this could be possible “Honor & Pride” as a younger brother you always look up to your older brother but I also though he could just be a sneaky bastard laying a trap for Toronaga an everyone next to him.

John keeps going up in the ranks and this gives him more reasons to question Toronaga, he feels everything he has been giving means nothing just to keep him “happy” another pawn in the Toronaga strategy so either he is truly in and respected as a free men or he is allow to get out of Japan with his ship. This last part is very important because I have a feeling that he will once again save Toronaga ass, on this scene he says tells Toronaga he is down with him to whatever happens, trying to tell him he will go to the end of this war with him to prove his loyalty. Mariko is also no treating him anymore like a kid who doesn’t know their culture or indirectly make fun of him, this means she sees him more like a man who she might start to respect soon, only three more episodes to go.

From all the women on the series my favorite character is Usami Fuji, I don’t know Japanese culture so sometimes I write about her calling her Usami but then her grandfather called her Fuji when he arrive? …anyways Fuji is my favorite, always so cute, polite, loyal, her grandfather Hiromatsu, tell her how clean and tight is her place that house does look like a Japanese dream house everything so neat, its like been on a five star hotel with the entire Japanese house on the mountain side.

Sadly Fuji still wants to die, Hiromatsu brought her the ashes of her husband and son after he had to commit Seppuku killing himself and his only son, this broke Fuji heart but she was order to live and be John consort, she agree to do this for six month and then she would kill herself as there is nothing that matters for her its hard to imagine anyone can live under this condition and still laugh and look like she does.

The night has come and as I expected Saeki had everything planned, he already had an offer from Ishido to become a Regent and form part of the Council so he never had the intention to join forces with his brother, now he has them trapped, the entire town is surrounded with no where to escape, my description might be too simple but in fact that is how it is, that night they had some Sake and tell a few stories but everything went south when Saeki disrespect Toronaga in front of everyone, that was the catalyst to understand he have betrayed his brother.

Even Yabushige plans have fall down, he was a pawn for both sides, useful until he was not anymore, both Ishido and Toronaga knew he was playing the double agent game. Behind Toronaga’s back he send a messenger to try to make peace between both sides or at least cut a deal that favor him but this messenger was beheaded and send on a box back to Yabushige. He thinks that every since he met John his life turn to shit, he has been three times already close to die since they met, at Osaka, at Izu when he fall down the cliff, during the earthquake and now they about to be killed, its kinda true because if Toronaga have never use John at Osaka he would probably be dead by now and Yabushige at that time had a better understanding with Ishido, so yeah John had to do with Yabushige current situation.

This is probably the best mini series I have ever seen and one of the best series over all, been this episode a slow one it was still good, if I have to rate it this is a solid 8/10, as always I skipped the part with all the action to avoid spoil it that much but if you haven’t seen the episode just by reading this post you can imagine what comes next. I seriously doubt Toronaga and John were so easy to catch, they surely have something planned or this is the time John stops following orders and save Toronaga ass once more, if he could get back to his ship he could do some serious damage from far, next episode is going to be awesome because we are back at square one, Toronaga is trapped with no where to go so he has to find some sort of procedure impediment for Saeki to take him to Osaka or someone has to safe him.

Well it kinda happen exactly as I was expecting and to be honest I did not enjoy this episode that much, when the series started I said and thought that “The Ones Who Live” would probably be the best TWD spin off from the three that we were getting this year but the last episodes disappoint me in one way or another, from the very long and extensive arguing scenes between Michonne and Rick to the now rush take down of the CRM, Rick try for about eight years to escape and he couldn’t but Jadis was doing it for many years, yes she was smarter than Rick and join the CRM instead of fight it but she make it look too easy, same goes now that Michonne is with Rick they manage to take the CRM down in a single episode? there was nothing extraordinary that help them achieve this and now that Jadis is dead she is irrelevant, all she did was blackmail Rick the entire season.

I have not found information that confirms this is a Mini Series the reason I mention this is because it feels like one and not that there will be a second season, after all TWD has a lot going on with three spin off on the same year but I think the big surprise down the line would be that all them collide with each other at some point. If there is a character I would be waiting for is Throne, now that Rick and Michonne took down General Bale I would guess she is the next one in command, Michonne did hurt her badly towards the end but never gave her the final blow.

Thorne was a true believer on Major Beale but she also like Rick specially after she went up in the rank and that’s funny because before that she most of the time was throwing things are him, Rick gets back from the crash site with Michonne with a cover story and Thorne believe him? wtf.

Jadis is dead, why? because she was too cocky, Michonne was right when she said that she have miss the opportunity to take her and Rick down, she should have done it when they were sleeping, instead she prefer to look them in the eye before killing them, this makes reference to Gabriel but Jadis never actually kill him so I got no clue other that she felt cocky because she out smart them and was now in a position of power, we humans are so weak when it comes to holding power, it consumes anyone, that’s what happen to Jadis.

Michonne comes back with Rick to the CRM and her mission was to find the diary that Jadis kept on her room before the CRM swipe it clean once they figure out Jadis was dead, on this diary was her entire story with Rick and Michonne with the latest update of why “Dhana” aka Michonne was at the CRM, this would put Arcadia and her children in danger.

Beale was a total idiot, he ones look at Rick in the eyes and ask him if he can trust him and Okafor knowing what ever Rick answer was probably a lie, a guy who have tried to escape for many years had the golden ticket to stay “dead” for everyone at the CRM but now decides to come back? if this was say a second time thing I would go for it and trust Rick but out of the trailer Beale decides to bring in Rick to the highest level there is for a CRM soldier, makes no sense and shows that Beale was not trying to out smart Rick, he was truly taking a gamble and believe in Rick, yes he offer him to bring in anyone he wanted into the CRM and that could have been the catch but that’s 50/50 I’m not buying it.

At on this episode Michonne was not arguing with Rick for ever, I really like her performance towards the anger she felt during the briefing for the CRM next missions, how they were going to gas out everyone and only rescue 10% of the children, but then there are details like she have been missing for this long and nobody asks for her? Rick is back but Michonne didn’t have to report to anyone? at least Thorne knew Michonne was back at the CRM, Rick told her and now Michonne is wondering around doing what ever she wants freely to take down the CRM? cmon.

The speech scene between Beale and Rick was interesting because he gave out details of the CRM operations, Throne was always talking about how she now understands everything and its clear for her why she belongs to the CRM, Baele detail the CRM plans to Rick regarding how this might be a lost cause so all he is trying to is defeat the odds, but the outcome of this conversation was too predictable, Rick was fixed on killing Baele no matter what happens, I never doubt this now that Michonne was on sync with him, a surprise was if Rick took Baele deal to bring in anyone he love into the CRM, could probably be easy for him but either if it was true or not same as Michonne, Rick could not deal with all the killing.

Same as I have done before I’m trying to avoid describing the action scenes and talk more about the structure of the episode so I don’t ruin or spoil it for others but it was also predictable the fight scene between Rick and Baele, after all he is a man they could not take down from far distance, it had to be a close fight while been alone, this was Rick only chance and Baele was not match for him, actually I though it would be a harder fight for Rick but it was just too easy, another rush scene.

As you can tell from my comments above I’m not so happy with what happen towards the end of the series, I totally understand the goal was to reunite Michonne and Rick once again and escape from the CRM but they could have make it less easy for them, lets just think how they did all this in less than a year and Rick have been trying for almost eight years to escape? the only variant after Michonne got in is that Okafor was not around. If we compare Daryl Dixon series he was on a similar spot, trying to go back home and deal with Genet and her army but it didn’t felt this rush and easy for him to accomplish this besides she is still around while on The Ones Who Live Baele and Thorne are gone, they even play recording of how the remaining of the CRM have take actions to turn things around and not be the dictatorship that Baele was running, I would have to disagree with the internet on this one and only give this spin off a 7.5/10 while on most websites it got 8 and 9.

The story follow Paul’s and his twin son Thomas and Joseph, living in a remote farm, away from any kind of conflict. The world has an excess of pollution caused by humans but the worst in that are also some creatures that know are living in the planet, those monsters hunt and kill any living beings in their path. Paul and his sons daily routines are almost the same, looking wood in the forest, drive for the farms fields to see is something new or different happen and reinforce all the system of barriers Paul’s has created to keep the house secure during the night, there’s also an important rule that they most follow be in the house before sunset to be safe. Despite all the rules Paul sons are teenager and as teenager they are not extent of do stupid things even though the world is ending. Thomas has visited a location where he met Charlotte and they create a nice relationship, she live in a fortified community and Thomas go there every time he can until one day something unexpected happen Thomas doesn’t arrive to his house on time because he felt into a slit and find himself trapped in the woods in the night, afraid for what could happen to his son Paul’s didn’t think to much and leave the house in search of Thomas and Joseph is going as well to save his brother. When they finally found Thomas he was surrounded by a monsters, Paul decided to create a distraction so his sons can run together away from there but while doing that Paul get injured and the monster attacked him so his sons fight against them and save his father and start looking for help. Since this moment Paul, Thomas and Joseph decided that they are tired of hiding and decided to fight for their freedom and their life. We are going to witness a family union fighting together embracing fear, darkness, courage and hope.

The movie was directed by Benjamin Brewer a director that is a visual effects specialist and that has a fabulous way to make the cast work in a healthy environment, leading the cast is Nicholas Cage as Paul, the father that will fight and die if it is necessary for his sons, also an actor that welcomed the younger generation of actors that work with him in this movie. Arcadian will premiered on April 12th, in theaters.

The World of Arcadian

The world of Arcadian is set in a post apocalyptic world where Paul’s with his twin sons Thomas and Joseph are trying to survive. During the day Paul’s work to reinforce the system of barriers and locks that are in the house because during the night the monster try to enter the house. Paul’s create rules for them like they all must be in the house before sunset to be safe but one day Thomas doesn’t returned home on time forcing Paul leave their shelter to search for him, at the moment that Paul found Thomas he was surrounded by monsters so he decided to create a distraction to save his son life, the same work but Paul ended very injured forcing the kids to take of them and his dad and creating in the trio a frustration and the same time strength to fight for a better life. Each night to the work this monsters bring darkness, tension, terror and the uncertainty to know where do these monsters come from and if will be an opportunity for humankind.

Critical Reception and Audience Expectations

The critics for the movie are mixed, some are pleased with the great performance that Nicolas Cage gives in this new role and a different one as a single father taking care of their twin sons in a broken world. Also the young actors Jaeden Martell and Maxwell Jenkins create a great synergy giving excellent performances. In addition, the critics mention that the CGI, the action scenes and the creation of the monster were well done with a unique design. But as always, not everything is perfect. One thing that is mention is the lack of information in the movie such as what the monsters are, why they appeared?, where they are coming from?, what is the kind of relationship that Paul’s has with his sons?, why only they are in the house?, many questions that are unanswered, but despite those questions, the truth is that the movie has good critics and the audience seems to be really excited to see how the monsters look and how father and sons are going to live and survive in that world.

The movie is lead by the legendary actor Nicholas Cage as Paul. Cage is known for his versatile performances in films such as Gone in 60 Seconds of 2000, Ghost Rider 2007, National Treasure 2004 and City of Angels 1998. Arcadian is another movie that brings monster to this world that want to destroy the human race, humankind is really so bad?, apparently yes because many writers and filmmakers want us dead but well. Remembering the audience the world of Last of US and A Quite Place, now Arcadian is giving Paul’s, a single dad with his twin sons living in a far away farm, trying to live a peaceful life in the world were only humans can walk during the day because when the moon is in the sky the monster take the control of the land. Nicholas Cage is Paul’s, the guardian father that is trying to do his best to keep save his children, two teenagers that not only want don’t want to stay home, they want to meet with other survivors and have the most “normal” life and experiences that an teenager can have, even though is the end of the world. This movie is going to show one more time the unlimited love that a father have for a son, the power of survival a human can embrace to safe what he love and the conviction to create a future for his next generation, also the director is going to take them to the limits to achieve their goals in a world where every thing seems to be lost. A movie full of horror, tension, action but overall family love.

Last night I took the time to watch Spaceman (2024) with Adam Sandler, this type of movies where the main character spend most of his time on a close environment are not easy to pull off, very recent the was the movie I.S.S that was close to a 5/10 but it had a few good scenes and it was on a similar environment, close space station without any kind of exploration mission.

Spaceman (2024) is a movie about a Czech Republic Cosmonaut Jakub Prochazka, who is on a mission to take samples of a purple cloud close to Jupiter while his wife Lenka waits for him on Earth with their next to born son. During this trip that would be a more than one year mission alone in space, Jakub had an encounter with a what looks to be an Alien that look like a Spider, as Jakub he is a traveler but got deeply attracted by Jakub loneliness.

I really like the vintage vibe from the movie although is very common for things to look very simple and square on space stations in case something needs to be fix there is as less complex mechanisms or parts. At the time the movie starts Jakub is over six months traveling alone, the mission was design to be a solo mission, all he had to do was to collect dust sample from the purple clouds next to Jupiter, to stay sane while been alone all this time sleeping is key factor but his toilet that long tube he is next too has been going on and making loud noise at night so its been close impossible for him to sleep.

For me this was the first fucked up moment and probably what attracted the Alien, during a conference call with Earth a girl was giving the opportunity to ask Jakub if he feels sad to be so far away? he must be the loneliest man in the world!. Once you continue watching the movie and you think about this moment again if Jakub was honest at that moment he would probably start crying at worst because been away from his wife for so long was killing him but he put up a fake smile and answer was polite as he could.

Jakub wife Lenka at Earth has recorded a terrible video, she is leaving him while he is millions of miles away on a solo mission, she is pregnant for a second time and its a coincidence that this is the second time he is not there for her, the space program director refuse to give him this message and the hunt to locate Lenka starts so she can talk to Jakub and keep him sane because right now it doesn’t look too good for him.

Besides Jakub and Lenka the other character that had an important role was Peter by Kanul Nayyar, I really like this guy from Big Bang Theory TV Series, this time on the opposite side of the spectrum been a serious tech at control center who was in charge of keeping Jakub in check, very awkward character as a fact the entire movie has this Soviet Union style from the 80s so it was not just Peter, you wont see people smiling on this movie that much except for Jakub happy memories with Lenka.

As I mention before this Alien Spider like has been intrigue my Jakub loneliness feeling and he just show up out of no where, there was no portal or ship nothing just whats up here I’m at Jakub bathroom from all of the other room on the ship the one that torments Jakub the most, to make things simple Jakub gave the alien the name of Hanus since he was nameless. The moment they start interacting Hanus starts to rewind Jakub’s memory, he gets into his head and start looking for his memories with Lenka trying to understand why he was so lonely, if it was him who decided it or it was a punishment or he was that stupid that he could not see the damage he was doing to himself and others around him like his wife, deeply Jakub was lonely and sad before he got into the mission thats the style of life he choose and this is what Hanus is trying to understand.

Hanus kept digging on Jakub’s memory trying too look for a logical answer because everything around Jakub felt like a punishment, been on that ship felt like a punishment for Hanus, he could sense more than was just on the surface of Jakub something not even Jakub himself could understand or see, if he had he would not left his wife back on Earth pregnant after she lost their first baby under the same kind of circumstances, he was not there for her and the excuse was always work, Hanus got into a few memories of Lenka trying to live a life full of happiness next to Jakub pushing him to do things he would enjoy, trying to know more about him but from Jakub’s side of the table the sentiment at the moment was not mutual, he did love her but was not aware through the years how his relationship with his wife was deteriorating because of how either obsess or blind he was for been always fixed into his work.

I get this is not a movie for most people, they might jump in thinking there will be planet exploration, fight with the alien or something totally different, I did too but the moment Hanus says “Your loneliness intrigue me” I was hooked because this alien knows nothing about human behavior and is trying to understand humans farther than just learning our ways and language, he wants to understand our existence specially how a human like Jakub can live been sad and lonely all the time like he currently was, when Hanus starts to rewind all Jakub’s memory with Lenka then he realize the problem was him all the time, not that its part of human behavior, it was him at his core that was selfish and shortsighted, he was only interested in things that keep him going but never into the things that kept Lenka going, she was pregnant for the second time but he never saw farther than she just been pregnant but how the mission would affect her specially after she lost their first baby, the message of this movie is very simple although what I like about it is the scenario and how this alien figure is so philosophical basically saying this is not normal, this is not ok, what is wrong with this guy? then he gets it and even gets mad at Jakub leaving him alone for some time. After that then comes the last part that had some space exploration and even an Interstellar type scene with Jakub going into a cloud that had effects like a black hole. It is very hard to recommend this movie unless you like movies that analyze human behavior or fucks with the character mind.

The story follows Gracian “Gray” Parish a retired wheel man that is living an amazing life with his family, he run his own company and lives in a nice suburban home, he is living the average American life but he is also carrying a pain due to his son dead who was killed a year ago during a shooting but the case is still unsolved. One night an old friend and partner in crime named Colin visited Gray and asked, lets better says that Colin begs Gray for help, he is in a dept with the Tongai family, a group of Zimbabwean gangsters and needs Gray to complete a mission due to he is the most capable driving man that he knows, Gary begrudgingly agrees to help Colin but let him know that this will be the last time. The day of the mission arrived but the initial plan goes wrong forcing Gray reroutes things, changing his clothes and stealing a new vehicle, apparently at the end everything ends well, calling the attention of the Tongais siblings and they trying to retain his services but he always refusing to it. Since that moment Gray’s met the Tongais siblings and realized that he just get involved in something huge and bad that is human trafficking and also acknowledged that he is going to need to drive faster than before all to keep his family safe.

The series Parish is going to give a lot of action, pursuit, is going to give a view of real friendship or friendship that just can ruin your life also is going to demonstrate one more time what a person is capable of doing for the well-being of his family. Parish premiered is on March 31st on AMC.

Giancarlo Esposito take the lead role as Gracian “Gray” Parish, Esposito is known for his portraying as Gus in the acclaimed TV series Breaking Bad, as well in the prequel series Better Call Saul, for that role he won a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2012 and earned three nomination for a Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Esposito has established his career as one of the most versatile and talented actors in the industry. Ivan Mbakop portrays Zenzo Tongai, is an American actor, director and application designer. Mbakop first acting was in a commercial for Cox Communications and Coca Cola, he formed part of the movie Baby Mama’s Club 2010 and later in 2017 he debuted as a director with the short Victus. Dax Rey portrays Luke, Rey is a young actor that is known for his role in the series The Good Place 2016, Swan Song 2021 and They Whisper 2023. Paula Malcomson is portraying Ros, Gray’s wife, Malcomson is a Northern Irish actress. She is known for playing Trixie in Deadwood 2004, Maureen Ashby in Sons of Anarchy 2010 and Abby Donovan in Ray Donovan 2013. Skeet Ulrich take the role as Colin. Ulrich is best known for his role of Billy Loomis in the popular franchise Scream, he is also Chris Hooker in the Craft 1996 and Vincent Lopiano in As Good as It Gets 1997.

One night Colin, Parish old partner visited him requesting for help, he is in debt to the Tongai Family a group of Zimbabwean gangsters and needs Parish to use his driving skills for a one last time mission, Parish wasn’t happy for that request of his friend but accepted the offer. Directorial Vision: Sunu Gonera

Director Sunu Gonera has a story of dreams and determination. Born and living in Zimbawe during the Civil War, Gonera decided to began a journey and follow his dream of becoming a Hollywood director. He and his family sold everything they had in Zimbawe and move to Hollywood but he didn’t work in the filming industry right away, he first studied and has a degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Cape Town and started pursuing a career in baking before following his dream as a director. The series was entirely filmed in the United States, during the filming co-creator and director Sunu Gonera put the production in some challenges due to his departure of the project due to internal investigations, despite that situation the cast and the crew prevailed to continue on the filming and deliver a good series to watch. The series is an adaptation of the TV series The Driver, a British crime drama set in Manchester and aired on BBC One in 2014 and in this occasion Parish wants to show a story of man that helps a friend but that at the end is going to do everything to keep his family safe, trying at the same time to return to his peaceful life. I don’t like what has become of this spin off for the last two episodes and I have my suspects of whats going to happen on the last episode, I just hope they are not that stupid to have Rick and Michonne single handle destroy the CRM on a single episode, I based this assumption on the advance scenes at the end of episode five, it shows Rick and Michonne back at Philadelphia, CRM HQ; looks like they taking the place down.

It looks like there is a second season although feels like they rushing things just too much or may be just me getting the wrong idea, I hope I’m wrong about it; six episode is nothing for a season, some might say its just two episodes shorter than the last two spin off first season but in two episodes the entire perspective of the story can change specially been episodes over 45 minutes that is half an average movie duration. Episode five feels like one of those episodes to kill time and explain part of the back story and that they did with all the kissing and loving for the first part of the episode then something almost similar with Anne aka Jadis, I simply didn’t like this episode neither, its a real buzz killer since the season started so good and then it is just a downtrend in terms of lack of action, cruelty, treason and cruelty, after all that is what sells on TWD not loving and kissing.
