Episode five proves more my theory that Sam kills people because he wants attention and is a little bitch but then when he get the attention from others don’t know what to do or react, him killing people is a reaction to his impotency to confront his father now as an adult, when he was a kid he couldn’t but now that he has enough age to do it his father is not around anymore so he just take on other people who bother him in some way turning him into a bully, I know this is not his fault but he also doesn’t do that much to take responsibility and act as a child, may be that trauma never let him grow up and inside he still feels like that child that was abused by his father but now inside the body of a grown man. Alan was making some progress with Sam since he got him to do a few things to get distracted but fall into what I think is a mistake, he initially got Sam to stay away from Elias, his victim, to distract his mind from that impulse to kill Elias but then ask Sam to bring Elias so they can have a session? that doesn’t make any sense to me, everything is so soon for it to work as Alan was expecting.

On this episode we also see Cadence, Sam’s mom, for the first time getting control of the situation but at the same time its just so lame how she would think a simple hit on the risk would stop a serial killer, she also needs therapy, both been in jail or some kind of institution away from society until they get better, but this is not 100% her fault neither as she is/could also be mentally and emotional affected by everything that happen with Sam’s father, this family is an entire mess, keep in consideration that we have no information or feedback from what exactly and why Sam’s father abuse him, I give it the benefit of the doubt since Sam and Cadence are not mentally well, you cant believe everything people say.

Sam goes visit his ex wife Mary, she seems nice and pretty, welcome him and invite him insight to talk but she look scared when Sam told her he was taking therapy, may be she thought “finally” or probably he had taken therapy in the past and didnt work, my point is that she doesnt seem too sure to be next to him but still got him inside and try to talk to Sam, he look nervous and the total opposite of what he told Alan he was with Mary, he came up with any topic and stay quiet most of the time, it was Mary who kept trying to be open to him, there were a few moments I thought we was going to openly tell her why he is in therapy and even that he has a guy kidnap, something crazy but it didnt happen, that would turn up this episode so much. I think Sam lie to Alan about Mary or may be things have change so much for him that he is not the same around her.

Back at Sam’s home where Elias and Alan remain prisoners, Elias is trying to get Alan to team up with him and knock out Sam, he offer Alan to bring him into the therapy session and then he would throw himself at Sam so Alan can beat him but the answer to that is obvious and I already know it, Alan wont do it, he wont risk it because he knows Sam is stronger, if something goes bad its Elias fault since he is the one that came up with the idea but he feels there is no hope for him.

Alan and Elias had this moment where he ask Elias to bring a message to his family in case he dies but I think that was just give some hope to Elias saying he is the one that is going to escape the situation alive.

After Sam gets back from Mary’s place he start talking with Alan and tells him how it didn’t work, talking to Mary didn’t make him think different about Elias but I know that was not Alan point, he wanted to show Sam how he can stay away from Elias and eventually forget about him for some time but Sam wants results for yesterday like its as simple as taking a pill. Sam got angry and was going to kill Elias but Sam calls Cadence and all it took was two claps and a “Get back here” for Sam to stop, WTF why no body gave Alan the Sam manual where it says the instructions, Sam definitely still has this child complex and proof is that his mom still can send him to his room and ground him.

This episode is also proof that been on the edge every five minutes that Sam is going to kill Elias is what keeps this exciting but at some point its getting old so the writer needs to make a decision quick to keep viewers interested and its a very obvious one.

After his mother told him to go to sleep and send him to his room, after some time Sam comes back down to talk with Alan, he had this object on his hand that I thought it was a key, may be a key to free Alan but it look like he didn’t notice because if he did he would be interested and ask Sam to free him up, instead he start explaining Sam none of this is his fault and its a reaction to all those bad memories with his father and how he is taking it with the rest of the world, how none of this people are trying to harm him but he feels this way as an excuse to explode angry at them when he is really angry at his father.

I don’t know if Alan for real try to make Sam understand this by himself and brought Elias into the session or he was going with Elia’s plan to take down Sam.

Alan is suppose to be a well known therapist with lots of experience but I think the situation and pressure is making him take wrong decisions, Sam told him that bringing Elias to the session wouldn’t work, it only make things worst for him, you have a dog barking at you none stop every time you get close to the gate and he just got his chain loose what do you expect if you get inside the yard. Sam makes Alan bring Elias in and all it took was Elias to start crying and stuttering because he couldn’t manage the pressure of been blind by duct tape in front of a guy who wants to kill him, Sam jumps Elias and choke him to death, that’s how we got to the cover picture of this post.

After this episode I think Sam needs guidance but with an iron fist, he needs someone who can control him and tell him what to do, he also needs to stay away probably lock down in a facility where he can rehabilitate and get over this trauma, keep getting therapy with his mother too but it would depend if they both want it because both of the are acting very irresponsible even his mother knowing his son is a murder, as for Alan he is not handling well the pressure even if he appears to be but the truth is that he is starting to take desperate decisions and that’s why Elias is dead but cant blame him, going through all that he cant stop thinking about his family and the possibility that he wont see them again, most of the episodes are worth watching packed with intensity, stress, keeping me thinking is he going to kill him? is it now? is Alan next? but now we get to the point that Sam finally killed someone and in front of Alan so will this become a regular thing for them?

I think Alan is starting to make some progress with Sam, on this episode Alan tries his best to keep Sam distant from his victim, I think I mention this on the previous episode, to overcome this kind of impulse you need to physically stay away from it, confront it doesn’t work for everyone at first, some times confront it make it worst since not everybody works the same and the subject may lack the strength to prevent himself to fall into the same steps, for Sam staying away from the victim, staying busy works the best. Alan is starting to test the waters of trust with Sam to the point where he tells Sam what to do and then flinch but the second time comes with more authority when he tells Sam to go to work and he notice how Sam took his direction, for Sam to get better he needs to obey Alan instructions since he is the expert and Alan reminds him of that “you brought me in because I’m the expert, trust me” that was Alan words when Sam was getting very very close to loose it. There are times when I see the episode from another perspective and think Sam is a bitch, needy mf who probably like to bully others, he says that he wants to punish them for how they do things like the guy he has right now he bend a few rules so he needs to be punish but Sam probably either attack him from the back or the guy cant defend himself so he is this kind of avenger on his head but he is just a abusive guy who makes an excuse that his father beat him up when he was a kid and now has this compulsive disorder to kill people who are out of line on this world but at the same time he just keep bitching about it and the way he walks or how he stop for a min when Alan ask him to go to work, open his mouth and stop like “OMG OMG I CANT OMG I CANT”, different than other three episodes I’m starting not to like the way Domhnall is developing the Sam character at least for now.

Another thought about Alan, he is really starting to struggle with how Sam at times could be some calm, smile and openly talk about other things like music but then be so violent and abusive, how he brought Elias Petraki his victim to the point it disturb him and cant rest, I could think his Sam’s mother might have to do with it too because how could you live with a serial killer even though its your son without stopping him or at least get someone to help him but not like they have Alan chain to the floor.

Time locked up and chain to the floor plus Sam behavior where some times eh can be gentle, funny, talk about community, love, have fun, all those things that contradict what he is currently doing, systematically killing people, planing how to do it without remorse, all that is taking the best part of Alan to the point he cant sleep he cant rest well and who can when you are kidnap, force to provide therapy to a guy that is only bitching about how he cant stop killing people and how he is the judge of those out of line in life who are bending rules or not doing things as he see fit.

Inside Sam twisted mindset he must be very tough to kill a guy who only took advantage of the system without really making any harm to him, that’s not an excuse to kidnap someone and wanting to kill him besides they guy is tight up blind folded so how is he going to kill him, at such disadvantage I don’t see how that goes hand to hand with though man Sam. Alan still finds the patience and time to focus on the things that matter and tries to control Alan, he is making progress by keeping him away from his victim, at least this time as describe by Sam, he did stop before killing his victim and that’s why he brought it home although this is the clear scenario of someone who is only looking for attention, a man who only seeks blood would not act like this although he is looking for help that’s a positive sign, we might argue that’s how and unbalance person acts and why he is mentally sick.

Alan convince Sam to go to work he try to give him an order and felt scared of how Sam would react, he at first flinch but then repeat himself when he notice it did work. Sam goes to work kicking and bitching how he cant do it, Alan is now talking with Elias, Sam’s victim, they restaurant manager that he kidnap, they talking about whats going to happen, the guy is shitting bricks and crying, then this is another twisted character that needs therapy or be in jail, Sam’s mother comes down probably heard them talking but she comes down with a metal bar, looks like fire place poker if that’s the name, what are her intentions to wack them? shut them off? defend herself? after all they just talking no direct harm to her, could we see her attack Alan in the future? She keeps talking about how Sam feels sorry, how he wants to stop but that’s not of Alan interest, he keeps sucking information out of her trying to understand why Sam feels and acts this way to guide him or even “cure” him and may be get out of this situation alive.

Something that I like about this mini series is the format, this are very short episodes but for it to work it has to be intense when the main characters are on the same room, that is Sam and Alan, every time Sam shows up its either Alan wanting to kill him or Sam wanting to kill Elias, after a few sentences some one has to think or talk about murder and be very close to it and then stop, at some point this is going to change, from pictures and the trailer I know Sam beat up Alan once but I don’t want to spoil it, this is why this mini series is good although as you can tell on this episode I had enough of Sam complains.

Sam comes back from work and he looks tired, Alan had this call with him a the moment he wanted to come back home and killed Elias but Alan manage to keep him at work that probably took some effort from Sam, like controlling himself is taking a lot of his energy but at least he keeps coming back to talk to Alan so all this effort of Alan keeping him away from the victim is taking effect.

Towards the end of the episode Alan confirm a few theory I had about Sam and its that he attack people from the back so the though guy story falls down here, Alan is now ordering Sam to do things to keep him away from Elias, just as he order him to go to work he now told him to go see his ex wife since that might keep his mind distracted away from Elias and at the end tells him to trust him because he is the expert.

Elias once told Alan “this guy must really trust you” since he mention his hands were free, Alan has been trying to get Sam to unchain him since day one and tell him to trust him this time but I don’t think he will ever do it, Sam knows the minute he unchain Alan that bird goes out the window.

Alan therapy and guidance is starting to take effect on Sam, he is now ordering Sam to do things to keep his mind busy and away from Elias, the restaurant manager he kidnap and want to kill, not only Alan is telling Sam what to do to avoid killing Elias but also tells him to TRUST HIM!! this is going to be a key factor so he can make his attempt to escape, to be honest I don’t think he will be able to, I haven’t finish the end of this mini series at the moment I write this post but I think the odds are not in Alan favor, he is older, its two against one, Sam and his mother, plus he is chained to the floor, I don’t see how he can escape alive alone, probably if he helps Elias they can join forces to get out but someone is going to die at the end, also I don’t see this as a gore series so I don’t think Sam is going to be doing the killing because if he does it has to be very very violent although a Alan character would be tone down and more suited to the mood of the series.

The struggle for Miep and Jan continues, it just wont stop it never will until either they die or the war is over they both have taking a responsibility so big that is starting to tear them apart from each other but they have no other option to cope and survive. On episode four one of my suspicions have been confirm and that is Miep best friend Tess is either a spy or some how working with the Germans, well it is not necessarily 100% exact but her boyfriend is working with the Germans, Tess’s boyfriend has an auto parts shop who do business with the Germans although how deep they are into the War its not been said, Miep and Jan find out at a party Tess threw out and invite them, Jan notice how they were wearing NSB pin meaning they support the Germans in some way besides Tess gave Miep a necklace that Mr. Frank latter on confirm its a Jewish jewelry piece and most likely was stolen from a jew.

Now that we know how war went down during those days its sad to see how brave people like Miep and Jan did what ever they could to help others and most of the time I think it was without waiting for anything in return, they did it because it was the right thing to do, things have change through time and this kind of quality in people you rarely see this days, someone that helps you without knowing you and even risking their lives is something almost extinct, most people don’t have basic manners like good morning or thank you imagine how difficult is to find people who behave certain way or help others just because its the right thing to do, I remember one day someone seriously got mad because I constantly say thank you when ever I see its needed to please, he told me “Stop it, don’t me like that all the time” it felt so weird like I was wrong by doing something right and that’s just a detail of the many things I see every day since I have to deal with more than ten people every day out side of my work, I think if there was a World War III right now more people would die than in the first two but probably because of how we humans would abandon our own people, very extensive topic but makes me sad most of the time when I finish an episode knowing that they will all probably die before the series is over.

Miep got scared to death after some robbers got into Mr. Frank office and tear the place apart, they took the money, took the ration books so now the Frank’s are out of money and food, for Miep this is a big problem since she will have to hustle hard but for Jan is like nothing now that he has this connections with the resistance, when Miep arrives the office everything was turn down a complete mess but her worst fear was that this was the Germans who find the Frank’s hiding place but it was not the case, everyone was safe although when she brake the news to the Frank’s about the money all the girls start complaining when they find out that was Hanukkah’s money, a Jewish celebration they were waiting for but the worst part is that this also created panic in terms of security mostly for Dr. Pfeffer who was thinking about going back home since it was the same thing either the Germans find him at home or at this hiding place that had no special security, Mr. Otto had to step in and calm everyone the F down before someone hear them, all this happen during a Sunday when there is not suppose to be people at the office.

Miep and Jan relationship hit a rough patch since he has been going to church when he said he was going to visit his brother, Miep follow him and find out, its not going to church the problem but that he lied to her although he lied to protect her, the resistance is hiding people at catholic church risking their congregation but in religion doing the right thing is above anything else, keeping this people alive is the main priority and Jan is working with them for now doing small errands after the first big mission he had without knowing having to rescue a baby that was left on a drawer lol. Jan still cant come clean with Miep because that would put her in danger so he apologize for going to church without telling her.

Tess though about throwing an ice skating party at her boyfriend parent house to take a brake from war and everything that was stressful in her life, Tess was a women who doesn’t work and her mother has cancer she now have got herself a rich boyfriend who is giving her enough to survive plus a few gifts here and there, one of those gift end up been a necklace that she gave Miep for the party, they both thought it was a butterfly shape but it was really the Star of David open, a Jewish jewelry piece that was giving to Tess by her boyfriend who is making business with the Germans, Tess knows that much or at least that is what she have said so far, during those times you couldn’t fully trust anyone and worst now that it has been confirm their relationship with the German party, Miep got furious after Jan told her they were basically surrounded by NSB at the party, there were even German officers and could not believe Tess knew about it but there was nothing she could do, Tess was just trying to survive by been on the side of the bad ones during war, she had no job, no money, her mom had cancer and she didn’t want to see her die so she go with the flow and got her a rich boyfriend who makes business with Germans, you can argue that’s the wrong decision and that there is always the option to say no but every brain is a different universe and for her that was the right decision to survive.

After Jan and Miep got out of the party knowing they could not do anything to change Tess and all they could do is stay away from this people who they though were friends both go to visit the Frank’s who were celebrating Hanukkah, they didn’t have much but at least they were alive and healthy but for their luck Jan brought some food and champagne from the party and light up a few faces, it was Mr. Frank who told Miep about the necklace and she freak out running to the canal to throw it away but she was making too much noise, also start to argue with Jan about him lying to her about church and this is when he told her a bit more, not everything he have done but just that same as her, he is helping people who need his help to stay alive and that he cant tell her more than that because it would put her in danger, this cool her down.

Talking about danger, the resistance is planing an attack to fight back and I think Jan is going to offer himself to help with it, if he does that its not too smart and was probably better to tell Miep everything.

Episode four felt a bit dull, it was mainly about Miep and Tess, how and why Tess at times look like living this great life but in reality she is in bed with the enemy, the only moment I felt this fear of someone dying or getting caught was at the start when Miep found the office upside down but for sure the series is setting up for something big, we now know that they can brake in easy into the Frank’s hiding place although now the door has been covered with a book shelf, but this last scene with Jan and Willem and all those grenades make me curious of what facility are they planing to attack, after all the series only talk about hiding people and there has not been much contact with German officers other than the one who brought home the two kids and this other men who is looking for Mr. Frank because he owe him money I think he is the one that will keep pushing until he finds their hiding place, I give this episode in particular a 6.5/10.

Hirozaku is missing and Issei his son just got the news, him and his dad are very close but Issei cant keep asking himself why is he on this competition with Camille, he starts to question what could be the ties between him and Alexander Ledger rather than been just his student and its here when he discover he was more than just a regular student, after his dad disappear and his family officially turning his back on him Issei feels very low, lost stamina, out of strength. The story of Issei is finally getting stronger and starting to take shape, took it five episodes and it feels great because at this point we know a lot about Camille and here role on this series and I knew at some point Issei part of the story will become important, will be given more screen time, this episode is mostly about Issei and his family different than the first four when he was just on the side lines been the great Sommelier he is and stepping over Camille on the contest but not given that much screen time as he got on this episode.

At the moment of writing this episode I already saw episode six and I think for the rest of the season Honoka is going to get trashed badly, on episode four we learn how she and Alexander became lovers and Hirozaku save her reputation at taking Issei as his own son, making everyone think he is the father of a Tomine Diamond, the father of Honoka son when actually Issei is Alexander Ledger son, Camille step brother and the second reason he is on the contest, other than Honoka and Hirozaku no body else knows, at least until now her father Noboru Tomine haven’t show signs he knew so the moment this goes out to light because it will, at some point Issei is going to reveal this secret and bring it to the press, at least for now he just discover the real connection between Alexander and his mother but doesn’t have like real strong proof he is Alexander son, who knows if Honoka even kill herself the moment this news go out, we have seen on most Japaneses stories how some times the characters commit suicide when their honor gets beaten so hard and that’s whats going to happen with her and unfortunately with Hirozaku too because lets not forget that even though he did a great thing at taking care of Issei he also lied to the Tomine family for many many years.

Camille is evolving, now she has been offered to take care of his father book, The Ledger Guide, a wine guide that in the series represent basically the bible of wine, if your vineyard, your wine, and the editor talks well about it, it becomes and automatic success, Luca owns 45% of the Guide, it feels they want to use Camille because of her image, because of her last name but not really because they believe she can do same or better than her father after all Issei is way better than her on the technique and knowledge but she has this rare talent for wine tasting.

Until now Luca has been too good of a friend to Camille as he was to her father Alexander but if we look back is a man who is all about business and money, for example how Thomas offer to buy a $10k bottle of wine and took Camille to the vineyard that was miles away but when ask Luca he said he cant and wont open a $10k bottle just to wonder and ifs, all this time he has offer Camille his help, his nephew and Miyabi but this will change soon when Luca stakes on the Ledger and the contest itself look at risk by Camille actions.

Honoka seriously is so selfish, for her everything is in second place even her son and husband, she calls Issei to inform him that his father ran away and left behind his wallet, keys and personal things without saying he was going, even try to make Issei responsible for it after he mention they had this argument before he ran away but the truth is Hirozaku ran away because he couldn’t take Honoka rudness on how she treat him, they had a date and she never went, it was the drop that spilled the glass. During the argument when Honoka try to put this on Issei he clearly said it back “You are the one who always humiliate him”, it is about time that people around Honoka stops thinking she is this golden women just because she is part of the Tomine Diamond family and it starts with her son and husband, this is just the beginning, soon all the dirty cloth will be out.

Different than Honoka, her father Noboru is a bad ass and said things to your face, this is the moment when Issei is no longer part of the Tomine family, his grand father tells him he now MUST WIN, he has his support as grand father but Issei been on that contest discredit the Tomine family because he is or was the future of his family and didn’t need to compete for a inheritance, he already had one, Issei been on that contest is an insult that his grand father wont take, at least that’s his perspective, I’m not saying its my opinion, competing for Alexander wine collection is a huge price, Issie could do it for that reason and not because of the rest of the money but still that’s his grand father point of view and he is officially out of the family, the press conference was just a PR move from the family since Issei was getting so much attention on the news. Imagine, your father is missing, your own mother doesn’t support you and is a lying bitch and now your grand father kicks you out of the family, with a family like that you needs enemies.

Issei is getting all the love on this episode, he is now getting a lot of screen time and we starting to learn more of him as a person not just what a great Sommelier he is and that his family has money but more about how he is, why he was so arrogant at first, lets face it look at his mother and grand father, Issei for sure inherit that attitude from them. With his father missing and all this troubles with the rest of this family plus the contest pressure he is very down and look for someone who can listen to him, he has to vent out and choose Yurika Katase a journalist who he has been talking to in the past to get the contest covered, when they start talking about his father missing he still have the idea he ran away because of the argument the had but Yurika as a journalist see things different, why disappear now? he must have a secret? this is when Issei took interest on learning how his parents met at the university and whats really their story, he knew they both study together and met Alexander, he goes to the university to get more information about it with the excuse he wants to throw a party for his parents and bring this professor too. He ask her to help him find his father and she agrees with the condition that she gets an exclusive interview, Issei agree and she did help him, at least got a clue where his father went after he took the train.

I was so curious and excited about Issue story on this episode that Luca offering Camille the Ledger Guide was like Meeeh, btw Camille throw herself at Thomas and he reject her one night the got drunk, this was telegraphed from far away. Luca, business, The Ledger Guide, Luca and the publisher lure Camille to continue with the Guide but why putting so much pressure into it? they had her taste a wine her father like very much and Luca said its that easy just your opinion the wine you try but who knows if that’s really what will appear on the Guide after it gets edited, she doesnt look interested.

Issei kept his word and gave Katase the interview she ask for, on that interview he recognize how his grand father support is real and how he can understand one thing is family business and another thing is him supporting him as his grand father, at the end of the interview makes clear he will never take the Tomine Diamond family business no matter the results of the contests for Alexander Ledger inheritance, this was public strike one for Honoka. When Issei went to the university to get info on his parents and Alexander he got the name of Alexander translator, she is now old and very kind and knew the truth about Honoka and Alexander, Issei was talking about his father Hirozaku but for the translator it was a different man, it was Alexander and here when she slip and mention “….giving the class just for her” Issei was like WTF my father Hirozaku was a student, wasn’t he?

Mic drop….. she reveal the true story of how Hirozaku became his father but his biological father is Alexander, now a lot of things make sense for Issei.

This episode was a blast from start to finish, it shows now Noburu really likes his grand son but has a family name to defend, Honoka house of cards is about to go down and Issei has no mercy to her, Issei is opening up and starting to realize he cant win this contest alone not with all this problems he is having at his family after all he is wining the contest and has a lot of tools and experience Camille doesn’t but all that stress generated by family problems might tip him over, Camille was basically irrelevant to this episode but the next episodes will be fireworks now that Issei might look at Camille different and become more friendly even try to get closer to her, this tv series is awesome so far 8/10 and how knows it could probably get a 9/10 with upcoming seasons.

Alex not looking so good, after been rejected by Dan, Alex has now brought this new personality of hers, it haven’t been said but it looks like she takes some kind of therapy and if not she should because rejection doesn’t go well with her and the worst part is that she has to deal with it the entire time she is at work, been Dan a very renounce lawyer everyone knows him and interact with him every corner he look at, this is wont do any good to Alex, not only that she is basically gone looking at her on the mirror at a point on the scene for HER only her the lights go out and she is alone in the dark, its only when a woman comes into the bathroom and she reacts, Alex is deep into a trauma that will make her take wrong and extreme decisions soon. From now on I expect all kind of craziness from Alex public exhibition, taking her rage against others, doing drugs, alcohol, harassing Dan at home and work, even suicide attempt, when I say attempt is because she wont do it she just wants Dan attention.

This is Dan face coming into court after he sees Alex, Alex is covering for Conchita, the interesting part is that I’m not sure since when and why, Alex brought the officer on this picture some fritters, they were just chatting and when she gave him the fritter he said “You need to stop this” is Alex hitting on the officer too? or just asking for favors in court? worst part is that the officer gave the fritters away to the guy in charge of the court agenda, this for sure make Alex mad, she even ask if they were good.

Dan is action professional, he is trying to not let Alex affect his job or performance at court, Dan doesn’t love Alex it was an affair but Alex is getting the wrong signals, probably she have gone through other experience where the man doesn’t know better and gets to the same position as her, aggressive and keeps arguing with her, Dan probably knows better and staying neutral but Dan is still a man and he likes to fuck Alex so he is weak and will do it again when she give him the chance soon, that’s going to be trying to put off a fire with gasoline.

As suspected, Alex does take and need therapy, here is she talking with someone on the line, at the moment saying how great things are which is a BIG FAT LIE but only on her own world everything is fine and at the same time mention she have been looking for someone referring to a therapist but cant find anyone that can work with her “busy” schedule and tries to convince this person on the line, who I assume was her therapist, to at least have sessions over the phone because all she needs is advice from time to time although this person sound very very opposed to the idea and ends up telling Alex she is not certified on California and she needs to keep looking. You know that moment it feels so awkward that you feel sorry for that person even though its not you on the spot, make me want to skip the scene, after she hangs up the call took her shoes off and hold ice cube on her hand while repeating “The hidden source is the watchful heart” a quote from a poem by Derek Mahon called “Everything is going to be all right” , repeating a phrase or a poem could work as a trigger to overcome stress or certain situations, all this are big red flags for Dan who is not aware of this side of Alex.

All Alex dirty laundry is coming out on this episode, not only it has been confirm the she needs therapy, but it doesn’t stops there, her neighbor across the door name Paul is a therapist that had a few sessions with her but decided to stop and has been avoiding her to the point of not answering the door, we don’t know why for sure but I think she is the type of person that reacts aggressive when things don’t go her way, they bump each other on the hall and she start questioning him why he has been avoiding her, Paul didn’t want to be rude or cause problems but had no argument and all he could say was he has been just too busy, minutes latter we find out a men who probably had some sort of relationship or live with her send her a box with her things and have short argument, she still mad asking for an apology from him and he says there is nothing to talk about. When someone has so many people mad or avoiding them at the same time, she is the problem, that lovely woman we saw on the first episode and a half is gone, Alex needs help, she has also been stocking Dan at work and I think she imagine a conversation with him one time when they were close to each other, he didn’t said a thing it was all her imagination at first and then exchange a few words, good for Dan he knew how to keep the distance.

To continue unpacking all Alex craziness, this episode confirm my suspicion that she started the fire alarm at the restaurant plus she hurts herself when she feels mad I’m not really sure what she feels because now there are a lot of mix emotions but she once burn her fingers when Dan had to leave and then start hitting her knew with a dumb bell after he left, because he wanted him to stay? I cant tell what exactly was going through her head but has to be something really bad to the point that Dr. Paul her neighbor he move out days latter after they saw each other and had that awkward conversation, the guy left and change his address just not be near Alex.

This train isn’t stopping yet, Alex is going through all the phases of someone who cant handle rejection, from the compassion and kind where she tries to come close to Dan again but he prove me wrong, seems he never fuck her again, not even drunk when he had the opportunity, respect to Dan he knew how to stay away and then politely told her is not going to happen again. Then she turns into the crazy person, notice I didn’t say woman because this state of mind can be achieve by men too, and left Dan a message basically saying she wont be available for ever so its now or never for him but she got it wrong by going to Dan place and talk to his wife, not sure what it was that about but then he goes back to Alex place and had an argument about it.

This woman is a menace, there are no limits, after her argument with Dan one night through acid all over his car, if from now on Dan never slept with her again and kept the distance I can really see why he declare himself guilty, Alex is the type of person who knows how to and is willing to stage up everything to incriminate Dan, as he told his daughter Ellen, in order for him to get out or at least keep that option available he had to plea guilty and wait a few years. He is now working with his old friend Mike, who was his lawyer to bring back the case and prove his innocence but no body is willing to help him.

One last Alex crazy thing she did, remember that case she was working for Alex, the woman who was unconscious at the hospital that SHE TALK TO and took her declaration to identify the aggressor, that was another big fat lie to come closer to Dan, that woman was brain dead, Dan got that call right before he discover Alex was at his place.

I knew that at some point the script will unpack all what Alex did to Dan or Dan did to her so she ends up dead and Dan behind bars but this was crazy quick, it was trauma after trauma all the things that Alex was dragging from where she use to life and her neighbors, the fact that Dr. Paul avoid her as a therapist, a probable previous relationship send her things to her, how almost everything she said or did was just to make Dan be with her, cant understand how people kept saying this is a bad series, episodes are getting higher scores on IMDB and I’m sure there is a lot of things to unveil before Dan can prove he didn’t kill Alex.

Alan is getting more desperate to get out of Sam house and notice someone is walking upstairs so he obviously start calling for help until Sam’s mother came down, Candace. Sam is not putting any effort into moving forward with the therapy or freeing Alan, I can understand someone can feel that impotent and disturbed by his past, after all it seems Sam’s father did beat him for no reason based on his testimony and now his mother back it up although he lied to Alan the first time so moving with caution is Alan motto from now on until he finds out the truth, Sam just want Alan to fix his brain like a mechanic change a broken part but its not that simple until he put a serious effort into stop killing people, same as his father beat him without a proper reason just because he is the authority now Sam practice the same principle that just because someone acts fishy or think they slick and can do things their way then he thinks he is there to make things right and correct them, the problem is that he takes “justice” by his hand and ends up killing people, plus he has become good at it, on previous episode he show Alan a box full of things he got from other victims like watches, wallets, etc and the police still hasn’t caught them. Alan is trying a new approach bringing his mother in to try to help Sam but I really think he is just trying to manipulate the situation and get out as soon as possible, he knows Sam can kill him in any moment if he feels things are not going his way and diminish or disrespected in any way.

Episode starts with Candace, Sam’s mother, going down stairs and meeting with Dr. Alan after he asks who is walking upstairs, she is aware of what’s going on and knows that Sam kills people from time to time, at first she asks for Mary, I wonder if she is really on Sam’s side or she is also trying to manipulate him some how, when she asks for Mary, Alan tells her he cant discuss that, Candace said she read Alan’s book so who really got Alan into the house was it just Sam idea or was it mainly by Candace, I would ask this questions to myself because under this type of circumstances nothing is safe, a man who kill people just because he doesn’t agree with their behavior, not necessary that they did anything illegal and a mother who is aware of this and let his son chain someone to a bed in her house. Everything on this picture is wrong, from start to finish and Alan’s life is on the line.

Alan constantly keeps trying to convince Sam that at his age he is no thread to him and shouldn’t have him chain to the bed, its obvious that the second he has to escape he will, he even have a vision where he cut Sam’s throat, Alan keep nagging about the chain will eventually get him beat up, Sam wont let him go until he feels that he has been cure and that could take months or most likely will never happen, his brain could be damage to a point of no return, from what I have seen so far more than just therapy he may need medication to cool off for some time and stay away from all that anger and people that may make him feel that way, been on that job expose him to that temptation, he is supervising others, making inspections, meaning he is the one who says what’s don’t right and what not, the only option for Alan is to escape since I don’t think he will be able to make Sam feel he has been cured and who knows if he still kill Alan because he knows everything he has done.

Sam has this trauma that he think having therapy with his mother is not productive but also I sense he feel ashamed of doing therapy with her, may be makes him feel he is not the alpha, after all that’s part of the reason why he kill those who are out of line based on his believes, he is the alpha and have to show them the way, probably same at home he is the alpha and needs to protect his mother and he is the only one responsible for his actions. Candance as a mother she doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Sam but who knows to what level could she over protect him in the past, they both say his dad use to beat him up and one day he left but why did he left? that’s a question without answer so far.

Another reason why Alan wont be able to cure Sam at least for now, its because Sam wants immediate results and he starts to put himself at risk of feeling that anger, during the session with his mother Alan ask Sam when ever he feels that anger and need to kill someone tell himself he wont do it to protect his mother from anything that can hurt her, if he goes away that would hurt her, Alan failed there and I don’t know if it was intentional to expose Sam to get caught but Sam does exactly that, goes to a restaurant where there is this manager he already has his eye on, wait for his food and park outside but the rage is stronger than him and surprise surprise Sam kidnap the restaurant manager, its a no brainer that he need to stop going outside and remain isolated from the world, right now he is a menace for the rest of the world and himself, that’s why people get locked up for the first months when trying to rehabilitate, this is a man who has become good at killing people, hunts them, feel the need to show them a lesson, just talking wont do the trick. Sam brings the restaurant manager to his place and locks him up next to Alan while he watch how Sam drags the guy into the next room and secure him to chair with duct tape.

As short as this episodes are it feels satisfying, there are not many details or characters, so far only what four people but still there is that suspense of what will happen next, some of the things are predictable but in what order will it happen? Alan wants to escape and also kill Sam if he gets the chance, Sam want to stop murdering people right now at least that’s what he says but for how long he can keep up with Alan nagging about the chain, Sam’s mother helping him or he not feeling Alan is trying to cure him if he keeps feeling this way at some point he will snap and think either Alan is treating him like a fool or doesn’t want to help him at all and just trying to manipulate him to escape.

Citadel : The Human Enigma – Season 1 Episode 1 – RECAP

Citadel is the story of a spy organization that doesnt belong to any country or specific group of people, they work above other agencies like CIA, FBI, Mi6 and only work in the best interest of human kind, preventing wars, hunting terrorist but now after so much success became the prey and opposite type of spy agency Mantricore is hunting them down to destroy them, after all only two agents will be able to safe Citadel, Mason Kane played by Richard Madden from The Bodyguard and Nadia Sinh played by the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra Jonas who played Sati on The Matrix Resurection. Both almost died when Mantricore attempt to kill them but got out, Mason lost his memory and for now its very little what its known about Nadia but she still alive.

Citadel is not a mission impossible TV series and its average starting at a 7/10, most people I think are waiting for something like that after the trailer was release, every review I see it says disappointment, expect better with very low reviews down to one, I really don’t understand what is on this people mind, who hurt them so bad they feel this way for a TV series, worst part is that most of this reviews online only talk about the first episode, I have mention it before that some times there are TV series that get strong after the third episode and some others that start strong but then its just down the cliff, I have only watch the first episode and I give it a solid 7/10 and Im been fair, reasons:

– Good cast, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Lev Gorn, Priyanka Chopra Jonas
– Solid fight scene at the bullet train
– Story drama not the best, felt there was a hole on the amnesia part
– Effects and Production look solid

Good enough to keep me entertain, yes I felt it too, the hole part of where Mason lost his memories after the crash felt weird, the jump in time seem too fast.

This is the scene that brought havoc, some times people expect so much, any anyone who watch the trailer is expecting Mission Impossible level shit, but who ever watch the trailer and got their expectations that high for a Tv Series really does watch Tv Series, even on movies sometimes we get scam by a trailer, I think its more easy to do with Tv Series.

The scenes shown on the trailer look great even with the Sweet Dreams theme song, very 007 style but I think Citadel lacks story and not action, fights, shooting scenes look great.

Here we have Mason Kane and his partner/ex wife Nadia at least thats what I think they are based on the weeding ring comment from Mason, classic spies love story, they love each other but cant stand been together. They are after Gregor Yovanovich who is going to sell Uranium to the highest bidder but in reality he is part of Manticore an organization looking to destroy Citadel the organization Mason and Nadia work for, but this too are more powerful than he though and deffend themself very well until Gregor detonate a bomb inside the train, throwing everyone out, Mason lost his memory and started a new life while on this episode there is not much been said about Nadia only that she still alive.

After the train accident, Mason lost his memory, he stayed at a hospital for some time, even though he lost his memory his body is so well trained that as a reflect once broke a male nurse arm at the hospital when trying to threat him, he was hurt very bad. New life, new wife even got a daughter, everything was looking great for Mason but deep inside he knew there was a lot he was missing, he was missing the truth about himself, who he really is and it hunts him, not known what to tell to his daughter about her grand parents or how he was when little, Mason was a book in blank, for this he seek therapy to try to find this truth he talks about or at least peace with himself.

This is Bernard who still operates Citadel from the shadows, after the Manticore massive attack most Citadel members were killed but Bernard has been working to keep Citadel alive, there is this Citadel X Briefcase with lots of information from secrets, agents identities, politics even nuclear codes and Manticore is pushing the CIA calling in favors, seems Manticore work for governments probably as a mercenary agency sometimes making favors to keep a few in the bank for when needed.

Bernard abduct Mason and his family after knowing that Manticore is going after this briefcase, he did it to keep him alive and because its time Mason gets back to work with Citadel for his own and family safety, he is the only member that can work with Nadia to try to stop Manticore. It was not hard for Mason to understand Bernard and who he really was, after all this is what he wanted and many things match like how when medics found him there was no trace of him like he never existed because he was a spy. Bernard explains him what Citadel is and how they got double crossed eight years ago, an event that almost terminate them but its time for them to hit back, this is the only way for Mason to keep his family alive.

On episode one there is not much been said about what happen to Nadia after the train crash, besides since the train scene I felt Mason is the main character even after the scene opens with Nadia, Mason seems the Alpha agent. Nadia survive the train accident too but what happen to her after, did she lost her memory too? she still remember Citadel? lots of questions to be answered but this is just the first episode to present main actors and the plot of the story, a 40 minutes episode with a short story.

CITADEL not the best story but definitely a good production, effects, cast and it may take two or three episodes to get better, from the trailer there are great actions scenes very 007 style, it will be interesting to find out how Mason and Nadia are going to work back together after so long, its been eight years since Manticore attack plus they now working with USA agencies, Citadel is alone in a corner with Mason and Nadia been their only hope to keep going and fighting for humanity best interest, solid series to keep you entertain but again DO NOT EXPECT a great story line, at least not from this episode, will have to watch two more episodes to finally take build a statement about the story line, does it sucks and its just pure action with stupid story or its a solid 7/10 and people just judging a book by its cover? time will tell.

After Episode 1 Dan Gallagher gets out of prison on paroled and meets again with his now older daughter Ellen after fifteen years to tell to her face that he didn’t murder Alex Forrest but he had to admit it only to have the chance to get out just as he did, this is all part of his plan to now prove he didn’t do it, its not over yet for him.

The Movie in Your Mind, makes reference to what Ellen, Dan’s daughter is going through now that his dad is out of jail, confess that he didn’t kill Alex and is now going to prove it, ever since this entire situation started for her, probably when she was way younger she has been taking therapy, it looks like it really got to her and she may have some sort of problem to concentrate as she implements a method of transcribe her classes in order to analyze it better, she has also been taking therapy this hole time and its a big part of her life, probably what will help her to overcome the entire mess that is coming up, with Dan now trying to proof he is innocent it wont be easy for Ellen, she might get involve and things could turn ugly, who knows if Dan still has some secrets he never told his family and there still the doubt if Dan really killed her or not, we already know he doesn’t do well with though circumstances, after all getting denied the position for judge is what let him to take bad decisions and ended up with Alex and a very toxic “relationship” at least that’s what Alex thought this was, for her the one night thing was over and now DEMANDS more attention, she wants him to spend the night when she clearly knows he is married and cant do that but its then when her true colors came up, its on this Episode 2 that we see the start of this Fatal Attraction.

Numbers for this series started very low and as I always mention it always looks worst than it really is, not all viewers are motivated to leave a review after watching a movie or a tv series, its only those that either feel passionate about it or felt really disappointed and wants their money and time back, but most reviews are from the second half, on IMDB at the moment of this post the score has climbed to 5.9/10 over all and this Episode 2 got a 7.1/10, over all a total of 1.2k reviews that’s a good amount of people putting their opinion out there.

Dan and Alex are starting by getting to know each other too much, they both already know what they want from each other but they going through that high school romance where they just cant stop talking about their likes, friends, work experience, parents basically about everything that makes them feel good sharing tons of information and just cant stop talking, this scene really annoy me, just too sweet for my taste, for Dan it cant be more perfect because his wife and daughter are out of town on a school activity and he has the entire night for himself. Another lawyer comes next to Dan asking him why he hates him, they seem to have a case in common and Dan is kicking his ass, Dan gets distracted and Alex goes out the restaurant leaving him a note that she is going to another bar, they met over there and just kept talking and talking same thing until she goes to the bathroom and all of the sudden the fire alarm goes off and water rain down on them, I WAS 200% SURE this was her doing.

When it comes to this type of situations women are way smart than men, that night after he was talking and laughing that much she knew she had him, he had no chance of getting out of it, she sets the fire alarm and it start spraying water so she knew they would either go some place to get their cloth dry and what other place more convenient than her apartment, besides they are just co workers right? , they do go to her apartment and after an awkward moment for Dan where he didn’t know what to do, he is not getting any younger so not a dating guy, he almost got out of the apartment without a scratch but right the moment he was getting to the elevator after saying good bye, Alex comes out the apartment, it would take a lot of self control, power and focus to not going back into the apartment with her for Dan and most men under that situation, lets make clear I’m not saying its correct or men are just like that, I’m just saying get on the role and try to imagine what would the experience of been there be like. I really like how so far both actors are developing their characters, it really felt like there was a connection between them, so they spend the night, I let the rest to your imagination.

The next day Dan comes home and his dog was left alone the entire night, fuck it up everywhere, at this point he probably thought, IF HE WAS THINKING, I fuck it up once but I can control it, right the next they he goes to the beach with Alex and his dog, kept talking and talking about themself until they end up again at her apartment, it was a wild weekend for Dan and his dog.

I have never been a fan of going out of having a relationship with someone work related, I have always thought it was bad for business, work environment, either if things go well or not, always consider it a distraction and its true, when you are starting to go out with someone knew, starting a relationship in your work environment it will always be distracting and when things go south can turn really really bad when you mix feelings with work and that’s exactly what is about to happen here with Dan and Alex, as they spend more time together it creates a feeling that they moving forward at least for one of them, its always like that unless the rules has been set from the start but in this case it was not, this is a wild adventure and both are free to take it they way they think it is, for one could be just that an adventure for the other could be something serious in the future. They start to see each other at work, most Dan fault because he assign work to Alex through her boss Conchita, this gives her the perfect excuse to see him and they just cant kept their hands on their pockets, they are now having spicy encounters at work places, savage rabbits fucking everywhere they can.

The series move back and forward on the timeline, for now the most relevant part is what happen between Dan and Alex but latter on when the investigation kicks in by Dan his daughter, ex wife and his friend Mike who I think was his defendant lawyer, will become more important to the story. Mike goes to Dan’s ex wife place to let her know and Ellen that he talk to Dan and they going to work on his case again, proof his innocence, Dan’s ex wife, Beth, is not a fan of this and she probably doesn’t want to see him but for sure doesn’t hate him after she mention he shouldn’t loose the rest of his life for this women he already lost fifteen years to her, an ex wife who hate you would say drop dead or go back to jail really doesn’t matter to her.

Elle had a really good relationship with her father, she is confuse and doesn’t know how much close she wants him for now, I think that’s her fear since its one of the things she most discuss with her therapist.

Dan keeps fucking Alex like there is no tomorrow, every night, every moment they have alone but the worst is that he didn’t set the rules from the start, if you are not going into a relationship and its just that fucking you need to set the rules at least if this moment comes “what were we doing?” that’s Alex thinking they will now start a relationship or there is already a relationship between them, from here its all fucked up for Dan, Alex knew exactly what she wanted and probably had good intentions but she is not the one who knows how to handle disappointment or rejection.

If you are with a women and the fire alarms goes out, suspiciously after she goes to the bathroom, that’s a BIG RED FLAG, she is manipulating the situation to create an outcome based on what she wants, the problem is that now she is affecting others, its a small detail that could have stop Dan when he had the chance but now its too late, they had this fight because he dress up minutes after they fuck so she felt he was in a hurry, the hole thirty minute fights about why he always have to go after fucking but before he goes she ask him “how many do you think it would take?…Pills” TF she now took a bunch of pills to kill herself because Dan cant stay. Dan takes her to the hospital but she was bluffing, never went in and he took her back to her place, eventually he goes but now with a HUGE problem he will have to deal with, worst part remember how I said things can turn really bad with a toxic relationship at work, well that’s what this is, I’m intrigue on how Dan will handle this, he will probably try to soft things out with Alex and she will turn extremely possessive.

I’m glad to be right about this series, after the Pilot, Episode 1, the rest of the episodes on IMDB have gotten a very good score up to 7.8/10, this is my second episode and find it really interesting, yes its predictable the entire part of Dan and Alex relationship but if this turns out to be a series of more than one season then there will be plenty of story to develop, at some point the series will be more about the present life of Dan trying to proof his innocence and that he didn’t kill Alex, for now I believe him based on Alex actions but this entire situation was his fault, he didn’t know how to handle the turn down of not getting elected judge and start doing stupid shit, this includes start doing Alex or if he is not the type of guy who doesn’t fuck people from work then at least makes things clear for her from the start. Alex show her true colors on this episode, making clear she is not the type of woman who handles very well rejection and her feelings get her to do stupid things like faking she took a bunch of pills only to make a stupid out of herself the moment she is at the hospital door and ask Dan to take her back, very childish from her part but hey that’s what makes this series a classic Fatal Attraction right, I’m very intrigue to what happens next, a bit behind on this series and most since I couldn’t make my daily post regular so far for this month, I will work hard to get back on track.

Season one is over but it close leaving me thinking there might not be a second season, a few things that I thought would happen played as I thought for example Jo Madi ended working with John, Crowley controlling people based on pure dirt on them using their data against them that’s how he got Valence kill himself, this episode its all about giving in and getting Homm to the public with the entire story, one thing I curious is why the information that Jo Madi gave his boss didn’t reach Crowley or at least they doesn’t mention it but what surprise me is how John played out everyone with his “ex wife” since the start specially Jo Madi who always though she was ahead of John she did find out about his team that they were dead when he had no clue and only his father knew because he saw the intern kill them but the hole investigating John ex wife without him knowing ended up exactly as he wanted besides using his father as bait to get Crowley but I think that was a best guess one of those low risk high reward bets. The end of the episode felt a bit rush with Olivia putting down all Crowley body guards in less than five minutes after getting out of handcuffs that throw me off, I was expecting a longer story line, negotiation between John and Crowley but it never happen, after Olivia kills all Crowley body guards basically the episode was over, I knew the intern didn’t wanted to work with Crowley, he mention it once to his girlfriend but as the rest Crowley had some dirt on him, Crowley through the series was never respected as other criminal bosses but it was purely on data, he calls anyone he had all his data and after a few minutes of telling them so much about their life he got them.

Season one ends and Rabbit Hole kept over 75% on the TomatoMeter which is very good considering other series like The Mandalorian had a 90% and The Last of Us 96%, Rabbit Hole ended up been a good series although not a AAA series, to put it in perspective its not compared to any of the two I mention in terms of script, production and cast, don’t get me wrong, Rabbit Hole season one was very good but not at that level, I hope there is a second season.

The episodes starts with reporter Debra declaring how the American Protection Act by Nora Evers has become law that would allow intelligence contractors direct access to citizens online data this immediately gives Crowley access to manipulate who ever he wants and sure he did, as in any other conspiracy of take overs you dont have to win an election you just need to get rid of those in power and had the right candidate, Crowley had three federal judges killed shutting down the D.C Circtuit Court, never had to beat this judges in court or politics, just got rid of them.

Since Crowley is not this powerful public figure, he is only a man who pics up the phone and practice hardcore blackmail, John has decided to go public and let the people take care of the rest, now that they have the entire story figure out with the briefcase they got for Senator Evers and Homm still alive, he decided to go to the news and send an invite to reporter Debra to get an interview live with Homm, when he declares everything he knows about Crowley, Senator Evers and everyone Crowley had on this payroll everything would fall down, at least that’s the plan.

Hailey and Joh, after all it seems she is not working for anyone, she did find John on a dating happen and happen to spend a night with one of the manipulative man on earth, there are two ways I can see a second season happen, one is that Crowley is not the boss man just a puppet and second one is John getting more contracts as he was doing but now with Hailey at his side, she is becoming better at the job but I don’t see this feasible, I thought giving the data to Jo Madi was stupid but turns out John was ok with it, he also had Jo Madi under control so I think that’s why it didn’t bother him that much.

John has to meet with the reporter to agree the terms of the interview, Hailey and Homm get to the tv station and Ben is send out to protect John’s ex wife but its not all black and white thats exactly how the following scenes happened, Hailey and Homm were going to make time before they pick up John at the FBI and Ben was never send to protect John’s ex wife he was send as bait to get to Crowley protected by a fkn ninja who also happen to be a Houdini and Jhon Wick at the same time.

John getting caught by the FBI was never planed but a possibility, Jo Madi was not willing to work with him at first but he send Homm pictures to convince her to help him, a possibility that he had a plan for in case it happen that how Jo Madi agree to work with him before they catch him? Im still not sure because he never mention he was going to meet the reporter so how the FBI got him? I guess he did tell Jo Madi about it.

This is suppose to be the final boss, Crowley, this time is him because Ben recognize him, Olivia is actually an agent John had to hired to recue his ex wife after she got kidnap during one of John’s mission for a client, she was involve and he got Olivia to rescue her so for the entire season pretend she was his ex wife after he knew at some point Crowley or others like the FBI would go after his ex wife, Ben and Olivia were kidnap by Crowley’s people and brought to him while John, Homm and Hailey are at the TV station, Crowley tries to stop them but the moment he tries to manipulate John with killing his dad and ex wife John unleash the beast and had Olivia kill every Crowley’s guard so after that it was game over, Ben kills Crowley after some chit chat about the past and his plans, but Ben finds a microphone on Crowleys ear, does that mean he is not the real boss?? this is another reason why there might be a second season.

If this is the end for this series I felt it was rush, how Olivia kills everyone and makes things that easy, also there were a lot of details kept away from scenes what I mean by this is the things that John had planned that never were said for example Olivia, how did he know Ben and Olivia would get kidnap? Jo Madi use the information Hailey gave her to get a promotion why did she decide to work with John, so one day she is on the Devil side and the other on Gods side? the possibilities of a second season for me are minimal now that they kill Crowley, similar to what happen with The Night Agent, they solved the entire story at the end leaving no continuation, anyways a good series after all but was not expecting to end up like this. Over all I give it a 7/10 still very entertaining and the first chapters were very good. I’m planning on doing a season review for an overall of what to expect for someone who has not read any of my episode recap.

I like series that go back and forward in time it makes you try to figure out whats next and some times trick you into assuming things and getting to conclusions that latter on are wrong, the story and the characters are not that interesting, actors are OK but its mostly about figuring out whats going to happen next, almost everyone has a fight with each of the characters, Moss with Mike, Mike with his Dad, Delly with Mike and the most recent Iris with Mike, few of them are actually friends so that’s the part that keeps me watching Florida Man from time to time, a series I basically use to fill gaps anytime I don’t have anything to watch but its still a solid 7/10, Delly is someone who only thinks about what satisfy her, I have never believe she loves Mike for real he is just her escape vehicle from Moss and any other wrong decision she made and now he can help her reset and start from scratch with the gold they are about to scoop, the truck is on a crater under water and everything is setup to have a crane pull it up, one thing they don’t know the guy operating the crane is on bail for robbing a jewelry store.

From score on RTT you can tell this is a series that a large average viewer audience would find as a good series to watch on a weekly bases but anyone who is use to watch all kind of tv series who is more constant at looking up whats new and consider it a hobby then would rate it very low and that’s fine, that’s critics territory.

The episodes starts with a crazy story, a guy brakes in the Orange County Jail to recover his cellphone that contain incriminating information from a jewelry robbery he is been investigated for that face is going look very familiar latter on as he is Mike crane operator, the one he hired to help him pull the truck out from the hole under water until he find out about Mike’s plan, that’s where everything went south for them.

On previous episode close the end Delly shows up at Mike’s Dad bar probably asking for his help although they also show the USB she stole from Moss, they didn’t actually mention it was Moss USB but you don’t have to run complex calculations to figure it out, ends up Delly was only asking Sonny to help her find where the gold is, at that very moment Mike haven’t told her he found it, another example how cut scenes without immediate definition leaves the viewer thinking on what happens next because on the previous episode I thought Delly was actually working with Sonny the entire time and I thought it was about whats on the USB not about the gold but the results where totally different, latter on when Mike calls her it turns awkward because now she tells Sonny she doesn’t need his help anymore.

During the episode Moss actually mention the USB and in another scene when talking to one of his guys he said it has work stuff and imagine all the murder, evidence and things he has done that are on that USB, for now its irrelevant since so far its all about the gold but once Mike or Delly get in trouble that USB could turn into a life saver.

After Mike found the truck, well he thinks he found it, there is no evidence there is a truck down there or that there is gold inside, turns out Mike’s brother in law is the contractor in charge to drain the sink hole to turn it into a lake with a bottom of two feet of concrete, would take them about four days and nothing under water has been claim so its an open window for Mike with only one guard at night that could be easily kidnap, distracted or bought although Mike is cheap so he goes the distraction route.

The moment I saw that face I knew things wouldn’t go well for Mike, this guy is the one accuse for braking in jail to recover his phone and bail after the jewelry robbery, he works with Mike’s brother in law, supposedly got him a smart toilet so that’s the excuse Mike use to reach him, on the side offer him cash for someone who can operate a crane and the guy offer himself, it was just a matter of time before he finds out what is on the truck and either take it all or wanted a piece of it.

The night before Mike had planned to pull the job he shows up to the place where the truck is and his father show up too with too of his ex cop partners, they have been following, Sonny was following Mike the entire time anyways because he knew there was something that might interest him from Delly since she is related to Moss but now there is a bigger fish to fry with the gold inside the truck, they start arguing how they will divide the treasure until they figure out an arrangement, that night also Delly finds out of Iris, Mike’s ex wife who happen to be a cop, during a conversation she had with Ray-Ray one of Sonny’s ex cop partner he told her about Iris who ended with Mike as most of the time happens with cops wifes.

For the most part of the series Iris haven’t had an important role on it, by the way Delly got MAD as FUCK when she find out about Iris, I’m not sure if she felt jealous or betrayed or both by Mike, Iris will start getting closer to them and next potentially going to investigate a guy who Moss murder and Delly was part of his alibi, guess what happens when Iris finds out Delly is still alive and she is with Mike.

The night for the job comes and everything is set, Delly had to take care of the guard by faking she has some sort of break down and is about to jump into the sink hole full of water for the guard to convince her to get inside the church next to it and talk about it until she calms down, everything was going well and Mike suit up to go under water, same does Sonny and they trusted Buzz from all to help them with the chain to pull the truck, Buzz had a lot of trouble to concentrate but is loyal to Sonny although not too smart, he mention what he is going to do with the gold to the crane operator before the guy jumps into the crane to start working, after that all is seen is the chain drop on Mike’s head and Sonny had to help him not going deeper into the hole.

I mention at the start that the story is not so interesting and if you don’t pay attention might even get lost with all the going back and forward, scenes sometimes are inconclusive between chapters but at the end makes sense, this is something I think might get viewers off the rails but I still enjoy it, there ware two things I’m looking forward and its Iris going to Florida to investigate the man who Moss murder because he did and how is the crane operator going to betray Mike and the rest of the crew, one detail that fly by during the episode is Delly telling someone over the phone that they will see each other again and she loves him/her , it was a I love you so who knows if its a relative, a lover or even Moss himself, what if this was all a plan to have Mike find the treasure and Moss is using Delly to get to it, see this are the details I like about the series but I’m not anxious to whats going to happen next.
